Flood Warning

After the severe storms the Chicagoland area, particularly Ottawa and Naplate, experienced yesterday, flood warnings remain in Cook, LaSalle, Lake, and Will Counties, and there are flood advisories in both Kane and Kendall Counties.

Flooding is an uncontrollable circumstance that often requires emergency services.  Our full service, responsive team has the expertise and specialized equipment to implement a successful restoration plan when individuals experience water damage.  Our IICRC certified technicians can be onsite within one hour of the emergency service call to evaluate the situation and recommend appropriate mitigation procedures to prevent further damage to the property.  We will not only verify the thorough removal of moisture deep within the floors and walls but also monitor the situation throughout the entire process and complete periodic moisture and atmospheric readings to verify the mitigation procedures being employed are effective.

Once the mitigation process is underway, Restore can assist with identifying all of the damages that occurred and creating a detailed, room-by-room estimate of said damages using Xactimate, a software using by 22 of the top 25 property insurance companies in the U.S.  In addition to the assessment of the structural damage, Restore personnel will perform a comprehensive inspection to develop a detailed inventory of all damaged personal or business property (“contents”).  Once the water is extracted and contents are removed, Restore can provide high-quality reconstruction services.
