
Restore's Founder receives Torchbearer of the Year Award

The Better Business Bureau of Chicago and Northern Illinois has selected Patrick L. Santoro to receive the Torchbearer of the Year Award for 2023. The award’s presentation will be at the BBB’s 96th Annual Dinner Meeting, to be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at 5 pm at the Swissotel in Chicago.
This is the highest award that the BBB makes annually to an individual for exemplary service to the business community. This award recognizes a person’s consistent and dedicated support of the BBB organization and their ongoing efforts to educate consumers and businesses about the importance of an ethical marketplace. To underscore this award’s significance, some previous notable honorees include W. Clement Stone; Attorney General Lisa Madigan; Leo Burnett, Robert Abt; Attorney General Jim Ryan; and Governor Jim Thompson.
As a valued board member, Pat’s support and involvement has been essential to the success and growth of the Better Business Bureau. The President & CEO of the Better Business Bureau Chicago and Northern Illinois stated in the acknowledgement email to Pat, “we especially appreciate your masterful leadership of our Golf Outing Committee, as your assistance has made this one of the most spectacular events of the summer every single year. Patrick L. Santoro is the founder of Restore Construction Inc., a local restoration and construction company in Melrose Park. His sons, Patrick M. and Michael currently manage the company.
