FAQ
Restore Construction Contact and Scheduling FAQs
What happens after I call you?
We send a crew if the damage is still spreading. For water or storm damage, or a fire the fire department has cleared, the crew is typically on site in about an hour. When nothing is spreading, we schedule a time to look at the damage.
What should I have ready when I call?
Just the address and a quick description of what happened. It also helps to know which parts of the building the damage reached and your insurance company’s name, if you have it. You don’t need photos or a claim number first, and we’ll ask for anything else on the call.
Should I call my insurance company or you first?
Either order works. You report the damage to your insurer, and we can come out to protect the property while you do. Once your insurer assigns an adjuster, we share our record of the damage with them.
Do I need to be at the property when you come out?
Someone needs to let us in, but it doesn’t have to be you. A family member, tenant, or property manager with access can meet our crew, and we can go over what we find with you by phone.
Do you work with property managers and landlords?
Yes. Property managers and landlords call us after damage to the buildings they look after, and when you manage a property for its owner, we can work with you directly on the job.
